The member based Maitland Recreation Centre,(YMCA of Goderich-Huron), is located in the Town of Goderich. Over 70,000 square feet, the building boasts a five-lane 25 metre lap pool; a children's leisure pool; an on-deck whirlpool and sauna; locker rooms, including a special family locker room; gymnasium; indoor walking and jogging track; an NHL size ice rink, an innovative wellness area consisting of cardio and strength training equipment; aerobic studio and multi-purpose meeting rooms. Wheelchair accessible, the YMCA also provides a fresh food service cafe, child minding, personal fitness services and ample on-site parking.
