This healthcare initiative is rooted in Seaforth, Ontario, a welcoming and laid-back rural community in Southwestern Ontario. HealthKick Huron is a multi-pronged project, with six individual aims and strategies:

- To provide work placements for interested youth at local healthcare facilities
- To provide nurse training for the local workforce
- To offer rural experience to recent health graduates
- To make the area more attractive for international medical students
- To develop Community Ambassador Teams to engage the whole community in healthcare recruitment.
